Why do you need to wash the dog that often? If he has a bad odor, he probably has a problem with his anal glands or a skin condition and needs to see a vet.

No! Once a month should be sufficient. Yorkie can have a rather oily coat but proper brushing should help.


Good quality food also produces a healthy coat. Get away from any grocery store foods.


If she has a real odor, dry skin or irritated skin, contact your vet for a check up.Use a DOG mellaluca oil shampoo or oatmeal shampoo.


If she doesn't have any problem just use a good dog regular shampoo.

No it's not! You should only do it about once a month.





I use Groomer's Blend shampoo. It's about a dollar cheaper than the rest of the good brands in the pet store, and it works very well.

Once a month with a good quality puppy shampoo or pet hypo shampoo is what you need to be doing. Brushing is more important than bathing to a yorkie. Over bathing only strips the coat %26amp; ruins it. Never use ppl shampoo only pet.
you shouldn't wash your dog daily every 3-4 weeks is fine! and i use johnsons baby shampoo cos it makes their coats so shiney
Bathing your dog everyday is too much. It will dry out their skin. There are wipes (kind of like baby wipes) that you can get to use for inbetween baths to freshen your dog up.
no i dont think you can bathe you puppy or dog every day i dontthink its good for them .. maybe once every other week would be ok .. and always use a puppy shampoo or dog shampoo
no you wash all the natural oils out, but i guess your some kind of paris hilton wannabe and the dog is just a fashion accessory
