Alternate between shampoo and conditioner daily?

I heard that its bad to shampoo everyday, so would it be okay if i alternated between using shampoo and conditioner?

i would say use both shampoo and conditioner on the same day. and wash your hair every other day or every two days. shampoo strips the hair of a lot and makes it very dry. therefore the conditioner replenishes and makes it soft again. if you use just shampoo your hair will be very dry. on the other hand if you use just conditioner your hair will be too moisturized and possibly look oily.Alternate between shampoo and conditioner daily?
